Following the success of the run in 2010 we have organised another guided drive for TVR cars through the Derbyshire Peak District taking in some of the fantastic countryside on Saturday 7th May as part of the Chatsworth Gathering weekend.

So put Saturday 7th May for the Derbyshire Run and the Sunday 8th May for the Chatsworth Gathering 2011 in your diaries now and copy your loved ones in so they know not to double book you (or to book you both into a nice hotel for the weekend)!!!  Now check out the details here!

Well, we’ve checked the route through the glorious rolling Derbyshire countryside and checked that The Bear Inn still has a massive car park (we also re-sampled the food – we esp recommend their Hot Crusty Rolls particularly the bacon and stilton and brie and cranberry!) and the result is the document you can find here.  All we need now is a nice dry day to allow us to truly enjoy it! In yet another fantastic bit of bartering Kevin Dunnington has also persuaded the Head of Trading at Chatsworth to offer a discount in their Retail outlets for TVRCC attendees on the 25th April. The discount is 10% when spending £25 or more in the Orangery Shop, Carriage House Shop, Garden Shop and Interiors Shop (all House/Stable yard based) and the Farm Shop (at Pilsley, 1.5 miles away).The Farm Shop in particular is well worth a visit. The discount will be granted on production of a TVRCC membership card on purchases over £25 and on the 25th April only.

Last year your valiant organiser Kevin Dunnington managed to negotiate a super discount for TVRCC members wanting to explore the delights of the House and Gardens (as seen in recent film and tv productions The Duchess, and Pride And Prejudice both starring Keira Knightley!)  

This year Kevin’s managed to get the discount extended to include the Run Day too so now you can visit the House and Gardens on the Saturday or Sunday (on production of a current TVRCC membership card) the price would be £7.25 per person with up to 3 guests per card.
