Chimera 450 (R666 OTT) Modified road car also used for drag racing using a two stage progressive nitrous system. Latest modifications should see a power output of over 430 bhp and 0-60 time of around 3.8 seconds. The car is owned by Derek Beck.
al-melling-wildcat.jpg The Melling Wildcat - Al Melling Sports cars will be displaying their new Wildcat at Chatsworth in the TVR area. The car is considered by many as a modern day alternative to the TVR Griffith and shares many of the TVR’s design principles offering a big V8, a lightweight body and open top driving. For more details of the car see Al Melling Sports Cars website http://www.almellingsportscars.com/
cerbera-57l.jpg Fancy an alternative to an AJP or Speed Six engine? Then make a beeline for Steve Heath¹s 5.7 litre LS1 powered Cerbera. The conversion reuses the original engine management and transmission to keep costs down to about that of an original engine rebuild. Even though this is the baby LS and had no modifications whatsoever (yet), it produces 370 bhp and 366lb/ft of torque and will pull away from 18 mph in fifth gear!
ronancunninghamcerb.jpg Refurbed Cerb - Ronan Cunningham has just finished a complete restoration of his Cerb. “I have galvanised and completely painted the chassis, completely resprayed the body and uprated the car in everyway I can think of, the list is endless.” You can see more pix here on Pistonheads - wait ’til you see what it looks like underneath!
tvr_2500m_duncan_lr.jpg Duncan’s 2500M…freshly restored and utterly stunning! For more pix see Pistonheads
kevs_car_2_lr.jpg Cerbera Speed Six– This is Kev’s Dunnington’s car. Kev is the organiser of the Chatsworth event and complained last year that nobody took a picture of his car! If you see it this year (it will probably be by the entrance) why not take a photo!!
